Not your grandfathers bike pump
This pump is everything you need in a bicycle pump. It operates smoothly and efficiently in airing up a tire. That includes a car/truck tire. I tried it out on my wifes SUV and it did great. The pump cylinder itself slides smoothly to pump air. The attached pressure gauge works well in giving you an idea on the air pressure in the tire as you pump more in. My bike takes 50-60 lbs of pressure and this pump can provide that easily. I also like the attached plastic compartment that contains the accessories ( needles/spouts) to inflate a raft, balls, floats, etc. I have a compressor at home, so I keep this in the back of the wifes SUV. It’s criminal to me to have to PAY $1 at a “service” station for 5-10 lbs of air ! This baby will pump up all 4 tires AND the spare that you havent checked since you bought your car.

Nice upgrade that worked really well
I was relieved to find this because my old bike pump had finally given out. I wanted another one with a pressure gauge since I mostly use it for bike tires, and it’s much more convenient than stopping to check the pressure with a separate gauge.I wasn’t expecting to have much to say about a bike pump, but this one has been a nice upgrade. It has a slimmer profile than my old pump and it seems to move more air with each stroke. So filling a tire takes less effort than I was used to.It also comes with several adapters for things like sports balls and inflatables. That’s fairly standard, but it’s nice to have everything included.The gauge on mine matched the reading from my handheld tire gauge, which was good to see, and I didn’t notice any air leaking while the pump was connected to the valve.It just feels like a newer, better-designed version of the pump I was replacing, and I’ve been really happy with it.

Smart Design, No More Fiddling With Adapters
The HHYSSG Bike Pump with High Pressure Gauge is the perfect solution for me since I have two bikes with two different valve systems, one has schrader, the other has presta, and their both high pressure PSI tires. This thing was made for me! It has an easily readable pressure gauge and a flip down foot bracket, I prefer something a little more solid but it worked fine for stability. The adapter is clearly marked with an S and P and mounts and locks well on the valves. The pumping action is on par with other brands I’ve tried and works great. For the price it’s a solid pump that eliminates any fiddling around with adapters you can easily lose, very smart, common sense design.

Not with this pump and small case.For high-pressure pumps I like the stationary footrest. This one has a metal foot that can be tucked away. Useful Air Pump for bicycles, and small items
I received the bicycle pump today from Amazon his package in a cardboard box with some padding and arrived on damaged. I was disappointed to see that there were no instructions provided. Immediately took the pump to the garage and used it to add air to a bicycle. Whose tires are running low. The recommended maximum pressure in these tires was 55 pounds pressure. I attach the pump to the SCHROEDER valve and then began moving the handle up and down to add air to the tire. After a few pumps, I noticed the gauge slowly registering the additional air. Had about 40 pounds of pressure. It became significantly more difficult to add Air to my tire. There was more resistance when I press the handle down. I was able to achieve 55 pounds of pressure with a moderate amount of difficulty mostly due to the increased resistance after the gauge registered 40 pounds of pressure.The lack of instructions bothers me am I using it correctly? Am I having problems because I’m using it incorrectly? Is there any maintenance I need to do to keep this pump working order? I noticed when I attached the hose to the bicycle tire that there were two holes at the end of the hose. I know that one attaches to the SCHROEDER valve. I have no idea what the other one is for.Overall, this Pump performed its job. I have used many bicycle pumps over the years. This pump only pushes the air out on the down stroke.Positive comments: The main pump cylinder appears to be well-made. The air pressure gauge appears being well-made and accurate. One item that really impressed was the small case that attaches to the pump and holds accessories for inflating basketballs or pool floating items.Negative Comments: The handle I used to go up and down is made a plastic and was flimsier than I would’ve liked. I was also quite surprised how difficult it was once the air pressure was greater than 40 pounds. This is not a device I would use for large items, or items that require pressure greater than 50 or 60 pounds.This item came at a very reasonable price. If it lasts a reasonable amount of time, I would consider re-buying this product in the future. I will update my review if this item breaks or its function changes..

Hard to Use Above 40 PSI and Not Worth the Price
I’m really disappointed in this pump—especially since my favorite one broke last week and this was meant to replace it. The biggest issue is the oversized barrel. It moves a lot of air at low pressures, but once you get past say 40 PSI it becomes extremely difficult to push. It takes all your weight, and trying to get anywhere near 100 PSI (let alone the ridiculous 160 PSI claim) feels unrealistic. I honestly don’t trust the handle to hold together under that kind of force.The base design doesn’t help either. It uses a single folding bale, which means the pump won’t stand up on its own and constantly tips over. The valve head is fine, but the pressure gauge sits at an odd angle—rotating it 90 degrees would make it far more ergonomic. The hose is another weak point: thin plastic, stiff, and too short to be convenient.In summary, even at the coupon price, there are much better options out there. This one just misses the mark in too many ways. A 2‑star experience.

My favorite feature on this pump is a small box attached at the top of the cylinder [see photo] that contains three adapters to fit various air mattresses, beach toys, and sports balls.Negative:On the pump I received, the gauge is mostly decorative. Compared to a very accurate digital pressure gauge, it reads about 10% under at 40 lbs, and there’s no obvious way to calibrate it.
