    Cheaper than a new headset!

    My steering was shot on one of my bikes. I came to find the bearings in the headset (specifically the bottom one) had been exposed to enough moisture to render them useless. The easy fix was to take out the fork, remove the old bearings, clean everything, then put it all back together with 2 of these in place. Was an easy $20 fix. Steering is smooth again, and I didn’t need to spend a few hundred dollars on a new headset/installation!

    Nice and smooth… and fully sealed

    I picked these up for my FSA Orbit Z headset. These seem to run smoothly and are fully sealed. How long they last, I guess time will tell. If I get a couple seasons out of them, for the price, I’d say well worth it.

    These are for a frame with a 45° face. If you have 36° faces, buy elsewhere

    The 41mm bearings I received are 45°/45°. They fit a frame with 45° bearing faces and 45° headset cups.Headset cups are readily changed, but if your frame is machined to 36° these cannot be used.If you have a 36° frame, look for CaneCreek / FSA compatible bearings.
