Perfect for safety, but the mounting bracket could use some upgrades.
This little light is perfect if you’re concerned about riding where there’s occasional traffic, it lights up nice and bright and it comes back on automatically when you restart your ride after a break so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it on again when you take a break. The automatic brake light feature is great also if you ride with a friend and hit the brakes, they are able to see right away that you are stopping or slowing down. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for anyone who needs a good, reliable tail light.Update: I have had this light for about 3 years and I really like it but it has always been hard to get it back onto the mounting bracket after you take it off to recharge it and finally the mounting bracket broke. I found a replacement bracket available to purchase on the company’s site but it was for the G5 model and there was no replacement bracket available for the light that I have, the G4 model, and I don’t understand why since mine is actually the more expensive model. I don’t see any way to contact the company to request a replacement bracket available and I really wish there was because now I have to either replace the entire unit and trash the old one or hope they will contact me and offer a new bracket for the one I already purchased.

Ho provato la luce per 3 mesi prima di recensirla : molto luminosa e visibile sia di giorno che di notte , molto buona durata della batteria .Come da descrizione si spegne dopo un po’ che sono fermo e si riaccende immediatamente al primo movimento , questa cosa è comodissima e funziona bene . Quando inizio a frenare diventa effettivamente subito molto più luminosa segnalando la frenata , anche questo funziona molto bene .Posso dire di essere molto soddisfatto dell’ acquisto.

This light functions mostly as described. It has great battery life and worked well for about a year. The dimensions and design is as described. The flashing options work well.I really like this light and even showed it to some people in my local ride group. Up until about a month ago I was thrilled with my purchase. However, about a week ago the release mechanism started to get triggered when passing over small bumps. The light was no longer securely attached. I tried a few different things to get it to fit more snuggly but ultimately (and finally) all of these attempts failed and I ended up losing the light on a fairly smooth bike path due to the poor / week design of the light attachment holder. Just to clarify, I ride on fairly smooth streets and paths in town. I have not dropped the bike, been in any accidents, or stored it in any way that would affect the mounting. The thing is that it appears that this thing is only designed to last a short period of time.It gets great reviews here because it will likely take over a year for it to start failing (as mine did). That is often past the time when these reviews are written. I would advise staying away from this product and buying something that attaches more securely to your bike.

This is the 4th light (kind of light) that I have purchased for my bike. The battery last a long time and the light is very visible. I like how the light comes on like a brake light when you stop. Like all the parts on a bike, you need to prepare them for the weather. Easy to use and mount. Worth the price.

The power button fell off the light when I first got it and was lost. I can power the light on or off by inserting some kind of probe through the hole, but the original button would be more convenient. Works very well otherwise!
