Very cute but different color from front basket
The basket is very cute and sturdy. Good size too and fits everything I carry. I love that it comes with a handle so it can be used as a basket if you remove it from your bike.Just note its a different color from the front basket that is recommended to bundle with.

Missing hardware, darker color than pictured
Missing some hardware and much darker than picture. Close enough to not be worth sending back but disappointing. Annoying that we needed to get other hardware to install. However, now it’s on and seems secure, good size and overall quality is fine.

I really like this basket! It feels very sturdy, looks great, and personally, I think the color is very nice. Like someone else said it is DARKER than the photos, so keep that in mind. I’m a college student who was really looking to have more carrying room on my bike, and after my test ride with it, I think it will do great! Now I’m on the hunt for a similar basket for the front.It took a few minutes, but it attached pretty nicely to my bike; I didn’t even need the zip ties (but I’ll keep them just in case.)My only downside is that it’s not convenient to take it on and off because of the bolts, making the handle part of it merely aesthetic. But if that means it won’t shake around/get stolen as easily then that’s just fine with me!Edit: I’ve been using this basket my entire first year of college, and it’s served me SO WELL. Very happy with this purchase. It’s held up great, in rain or snow (my bike is constantly outside, I never stored it over breaks, but the basket is very sturdy! I’ve been able to carry tons of groceries, (at least two big grocery bags can fit inside, it’s a tight squeeze tho!) my backpack, a large speaker, etc. Super satisfied and highly recommend.

Good Value, Some Quirks
The basket is a very different colour from the photos, which was good for me, as I prefer the caramel toned over the pale wicker look. The basket is the perfect size, solid and strong without being too heavy, but the mounts are strange. The rack on my cruiser was almost too thick for the short screws, and it’s a bit tricky to get on, so removing and re-attaching is definitely not simple. However, it is very sturdy once it’s on. The cargo net is thick bungee cord and much stronger than it looks, and the cover is thinner though it still feels durable. It’s oversized so it has extra room to cover bigger items, and the reflective stripe is much appreciated. All in all, it’s a great kit for the price, especially if the mounts are tinkered with!
