    Good size and flexible mounting options

    This is a nice sized little rack that’s relatively sturdy for the light weight. My tacklebox fits right in there. It has a small net bungee that fits well to keep things in. I don’t know about the little case I haven’t tried it. The mounting system is OK and is relatively flexible if you have small hands. I’m going to devise a quick release so that I can use it on my rad electric bike and remove it easily when I need to fold it up because it does get in the way at the point that I want to fold it. Overall good deal for the money.

    Perfect

    It’s just the right size and the mounting was straightforward. The reason I like this style (mesh basket on bottom and regular wider spaces on top) is that smaller items have less chances of falling out (such as keys and what not). The top of the basket has wider openings, which allow for rear bike light and for bungee chords/ the safety net provided with basket. On that note, accessories will come in handy, although unsure of quality/durability. Will update if quality is less than expected.

    Recommend Loctite/ Locktite

    Was a good basket (basket is still fine), but the fasteners for tightening the basket onto the bike eventually shake loose. Probably should’ve expected it, but I think it’s the undiagnosed adhd again, not thinking of the details as often as I’d like. Highly recommend some sort of adhesive/ glue to help keep the basket attached, or just regular re-tightening I’d you want the basket still easily removable. Loved the net for over the top of the basket, and paired with a couple Velcro pouches I hung on the basket rim, the bike carried quite a bit for groceries, picnics, hiking etc… very handy

    Good form and size, but not durable

    I purchased this to put on my child’s bike for their school commute. It worked well for a while, but the coating on the metal didn’t last and the frame began to rust. Finally, one day near the 1.5 year mark, it failed catastrophically during a ride: the side walls of the basket completely detached from the base of the basket because it had rusted through around the base.Despite that, I may buy another one because I had a hard time finding something of comparable shape and size, but just be aware that its lifetime is short. Perhaps an occasional application of Rustoleum spray paint would have made it last longer.Also, the wingnut and bolt fasteners shake loose very quickly if you don’t use Loctite or similar thread glue.

    A Good Accessorie for an Electric Bicycle And So Easy to Install

    I recently bought an electric bicycle (from Amazon) that I use to run errands in a small town. I ordered this basket because I wanted an easy way to carry my cable lock, water, and groceries. This basket is perfect for that.Before I got this basket I had acquired a used Trek seat post bicycle rack for $15. The Trek rack(or any well designed bicycle rack) makes it very easy to install this basket. It only took a Phillips head screw driver, a pair of pliers and a few minutes.I really like how you have the option of either using screws or tie wraps(that come with this basket) to install it. I also like the cover for the basket (bungie strap and rain cover).It’s really nice to be able to easily and quickly carry gear on a bicycle or electric bicycle. This basket seems well constructed and heavy duty. I’m confident that I’ll be able to carry 5 – 20 pounds of gear without a problem.It’s not a cheap basket, but well designed and big enough for most stuff you’d want to carry on a bicycle or electric bicycle. Good gear like this isn’t cheap but it pays for itself in the long run because you install it and don’t have to fiddle with it. When you’re riding a bicycle or electric bicycle the last thing you need is stuff falling off because of poor design and/or poor construction.I am a former Marine and picky about what I spend money on being that I’m retired and on a fixed income. This gear is money well spent and I can’t give it a bigger compliment than that…:)

    Works well

    Normally I would just find a fruit crate and attach it with zip ties. But I needed a basket quickly, so ended up paying for this one. Overall, it’s pretty good: sturdy, easy to attach, looks good, has a good quality bungee net and a waterproof rain cover. Not as cheap as a free fruit crate, but has it’s charm.

    I purchased a basket around a year ago now and couldn’t be happier with the overall experience. The customer service is truly exceptional.
