It fits perfectly and gave me the adjustments I was looking for.
The original one was secured with the clamp screws and it had cap screw that screwed into the stem. I was able to but a large flat washer and a cap screw that would work just like the original. I didn’t want to leave it open to the weather. The new one gave me the extra height I needed and it brought the Handle bar a little closer to me. I was having problems with my neck and shoulder and this should fix the problem. I can’t wait to ride it again once my neck is back to normal. I’m very happy with this purchase

Replaced a cracked Thompson on Mr mountain bike. This unit replace with out an issue..very easy to install. Didn’t come with instructions but you don’t really any. It’s pretty straightforward. Good value for the price point.

Easy to adjust and improve your riding position
I just used it a couple of times and really improved my ride. I installed it on my 29er MTB, and usually ride in the city. Not as much as I would like because of time. It helped me remove weight from my palms, that after 10-15 miles, it was a little uncomfortable.I’m a little over half a century old, 6ft and 220 p, so anything it makes the ride a little more comfortable, is welcome. Also, it allows to try different settings. I chose the long (110mm I think) and maybe the shorter (90) one could be better for my bike, because it made a longer distance. But it wasn’t a big deal, I just put it more straight up.I don’t know if I would trust it for riding on the mountain downhill, but for casual riding (usually asphalt, at about 20 miles per hour) It seems ok. It let you try different adjustments.

Good for intended purpose. Mostly, riding on the road.
It did allow me to raise the handle bars of my MTB up to where I wanted them, but the flex is so great, I’d never want to actually ride real trail with it for fear they would snap if over stressed. I think they’re great if you’re just riding on the road, but if you’re really mountain biking, stay way and find another solution.

Solved my problem
After so many years I wanted to sit up a bit straighter and this did the trick. Once adjusted it has held its spot and not moved in either direction. Plus it looks kind of factory and doesn’t look like an oddball part on the bike.
