Expensive but peace of mind
Like: easy to use, security.Dislike: no included lock holder.I ride my bike everywhere and i don’t want to call an uber bc my bike is gone. This is probably overkill bc my kids throw down their bikes on the sidewalk and not locking at all. I feel better because theyll steal the other bikes before whipping out the grinder to steal mine.

Worth the money for great security
This bike lock is worth the money if you want good security for your bike. It’s easy to unlock/lock and extremely tough. The only way someone can get through this is if they use a very high powered saw.

Ot does everything it should. Easy to push on, turn of the key and you are done. Why buy any other (decent make), when you can have ofthese. It is German, not made in China. When you average out its cost over just a few years, it is worth it.

Quality Lock
Without going crazy, this is one of the best U locks you can get under $250. It is well designed, well thought out, with a very nice locking system. It is Gold to Diamond rated, based on whosever review you read for Sold Secure ratings and would probably discourage any would be thief with lock cutters. Is it totally resistant to angle grinders – no, but they will have to work a bit to get the lock off. My only issue, if you want to call it that, is the overall length. At almost 12 inches, it is a bit long in some cases for securing the bike, but other times works well. Just depends on what you are securing the bike to: post, rack, bench, other bike, etc. This lock will give you peace of mind, knowing that no lock is 100% guaranteed to stop a thief, but if your lock is better than others – well, that’s in your favor at a rack of bikes.

It seems sturdy and is not huge! I’m sure it will deter, but you never know what will completely protect. At least it’s small enough to carry and doesn’t weigh more than the bike.

FYI does NOT come with its own mount! Had to buy this mount which works super well so far!: ABUS Zubehör USH 540, 18576 MountDiamond rated (highest) by the British Bike lock review site (too lazy to google name), has a great high quality hand feel and substantial, very long and fits well with my ebike with 2.4″ wide tires – able to go through frame -wheel-frame then lock it around a pole with ease! Less then five 5lbs, saves my back vs the form 10lb Krypto chain that I used – no comparison whatsoever. Thank you ABUS!!!;)PS for some reason the lock feels REALLY NICE to open and close, a very substantial high quality sophisticated high tech clicky kinda experience:)

Good as far as I can tell
Used this and another lock that uses a number code lock since I don’t have a garage for my bike. I live in a safe area and had it tucked into my fence corner so I doubt anyone tried to steal it but whatever the case my bike was safe outside all summer.

Beast of a U-lock
Lock Picking Lawyer said get this one, good enough for me. Works well, feels tough. I’m sure a cutoff wheel in an angle grinder could get thru it eventually, but you can’t do much about that except park next to a more expensive bike.

Zapięcie bardzo dobrze wykonane. Robi wrażenie. Mam nadzieję, że zabezpieczy hulajnogę przed kradzieżą. Jest dosyć ciężkie, jednak nie jest to wielkim problemem. Kluczyki działają bez żadnych problemów. Uważam, że warto kupić i na czas zakupów być spokojny o swoją hulajnogę lub rower.

Sturdy lock
I was keen to purchase a sturdy lock for my precious bike. The picture of my bike (with the lock) gives and indication of the size of the lock against my bike. This bike lock is long enough to go around secure attachment points. I use two locks (the other is a simple chain lock), to make it as difficult as possible for anyone to go through the locks with an angle grinder. I feel more comfortable when my bike is out of sight that it will still be there when I return.
