    I ordered shimano and says Says shimano on shifter, came in brown box not blue shimano box, thinking these might be knock offs but they work great!!! Quality is that of shimano and very tactile shifts you can feel also love the fact you can shift from say 1st gear to 6th gear with one push! Very happy with it!!! Good to go!

    Good replacement shifter. I ordered this after ordering a 7 speed version for another bike. Good value and quality.

    Cable snapped

    Cable snapped at the derailur the first weekend riding. Now having to replace the cable. Buyers beware.

    This was super easy to install. Came with everything including the end that had to be crimped. Installed in less than 30 min by someone who is not super handy

    Messed up!

    Came in with the adjuster chewed up. Looked like a rat chewed on it. Quality every where else looked descent. Not great. Shimano is always a toss up!

    Good shifter that Is matched with an XTR 8 speed cassette and Deore DX derailleur. Shifts accurately and smooth!
