    Time will tell… Tire removal tools nice

    It will be awhile before I can tell efficacy of these tapes. Them seem sturdy. What shocked me was quality of the tire removal tools. Time will tell… Tire removal tools nice quality. Update! Time did tell… This rim tape is causing small holes in tubes where it is heat welded.

    The pack includes 8 strips. Might as well put 9 in there because your gonna need em. I can’t believe they included tools to remove a bicycle tire. I mean…it’s a bicycle.

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:It felt stretchy and good fit inside the rim upon initial install, but I think it is very prone to quickly lossing it’s elasticity in heat.  Mine became completely loose and could easily move around.

    This was my first time using PVC rim tape, having previously used the rubber or adhesive cloth types. This product is perfectly good and there’s no reason to get anything more costly. My immediate need was for 700C road bike rims and the strip seemed very tight when installing, so I warmed it in hot water first and got some extra elasticity out of the material. Once on, it was the perfect width for my rim. I just now realized I didn’t specify 26″ or 700C, and I apparently I ordered 26″ so that explained the snug fit. You can see there is extra stretch at the valve hole, but functionally there will be no problem protecting the inner tube. The 8 strips came loosely packed in a zip lock bag with the included tire levers (nice bonus). This was not a downside considering the low cost. Simply fold or roll the unused strips for storage and your parts drawer will be nice and neat.
