Didn’t work
The set screws weren’t the right size, so they got jammed, which meant the key feature for holding and aligning the spoke nipples was useless. Also, those wires were super thin and probably would have been tough to use anyways. You’re much better off just getting the Park Tool driver with the dog-leg shaft. I ended up grinding an old screwdriver to get something that could work quickly.

helpful little tool.
I just finished building a wheel for my bike and this little spoke screwdriver made it a bit more convenient when it came to attaching spokes to the rim. It worked well for me and was easy to use. its got a hex end to it and it fit perfectly into my multibit screwdriver handle. its pretty simple and straightforward to use but works well for what it does.

Great for removing frozen (rusted) nipple/spoke bond
The driver is the key, forget about the other stuff. I sawed off about a 1 or 2 cm piece of spoke to slide into the center hole of the driver. It projects about 2mm past the blades of the screwdriver after fully inserted in the hole. This allows me to insert the screwdriver securely into the rusted nipple, the projecting spoke maintaining the center position of the screwdriver. I give a mighty counterclockwise twist and overcome the frozen nipple to screw. This works much better than using a nipple wrench, which merely rounded each nipple without breaking the rusted bond between nipple and spoke. I had an old wheel still in excellent shape but with 36 rusted nipples, eight of them completely frozen to the spoke. I had no trouble removing all 36 of them with my rigged screwdriver. Just give a mighty twist and don’t worry about breaking anything. Nothing beaks except the bonded metals separating as desired. Inserting new nipples using an electric driver was also much quicker and easier with my rigged screwdriver, the center being maintained by the projecting 2mm spoke. To make the spoke fragment insert easily into the nipple, I filed a slight conical end on the projecting end of the spoke, took about 2 minutes.I’m surprised they do not sell a driver already made as I describe above. Great opportunity for someone.Oh, just found the product I suggested above: Unior Speed Nipple Bit on Amazon. Cheaper to build your own though.
