    DI2 Top Button Spacers

Initially, I couldn’t get this to sit properly on the button but I ran a 1/16″ drill bit through the hole, twisting the bit with my fingers and the spacer fit better. I think the hole could be a little larger for DI2, but I didn’t want to take a chance. However, these definitely made it easier to press the hood buttons. I think it will help even more when I am wearing full finger gloves. I am very pleased with them, but wish the fit was a little better.

    Great purchase

I Would highly recommend specially if you use the buttons quite often. I’d say a must have until Shimano increases the button size. They can be tough to find at times. Problem solved ! Also its great to be able feel and locate the buttons with long finger gloves on.

Makes your Di2 top buttons easier to function

As claimed, these spacers really do make your Di2 top buttons function a lot easier. Easy to install and once in place you will forget they are there. They are what they claim to be!

    Doesn’t fit, Only get a 2 pack

This product has two HUGE flaws: 1) it does not fit a Shimano Di2 shifter. The hole is about half the size it needs to be to fit over the button. And 2) The description says you get a 4 pack of spacers. But you only get 2 instead of 4. So, you get two tiny, useless pieces of plastic that don’t fulfill the description. Save your money, or just throw it out the window, the end result is the same.

Brilliant Idea…. so simple and so easy to fit

These are brilliant, simple idea that makes using the di2 buttons 10 x easier. Simple to fit, took me less than 2 minutes 👏👏👏

They Simply Didn’t Work — They do not stay on the shifter buttons.

As badly as I wanted these to work, they simply didn’t. They would not stay on the Di2 shifter buttons on top. At least they were cheap.

These make Di2 shifter hood buttons usable while riding

These spacers provide additional surface area that allows the Di2 shifter hood buttons to be easily pressed while riding. They are a little tricky to pace on the button and make sure they don’t fall off while replacing the hoods, but it only took a couple of tries to get it done. Prior to installing these button spacers it was always a struggle to first find the button and press with sufficient force to toggle the switch. The difficulty of pressing the buttons was a distraction while riding that was a potential safety issue. These spacers eliminate the searching for the button and lower the pressure needed to activate the switch without causing inadvertent activation. Recommend to anyone with Di2 shifters.

Install carefully. Not for 11-speed Di2.

These work great on my 12-speed Dura-Ace shift levers. However, care must be used when installing to keep them in place. The pointed end of the teardrop washer should point to the rear of the bicycle. After placing the hole in the washer over the Di2 button, lift the hood/bracket cover high and over the washer so that you don’t dislodge the washer, then down over the front of the shifter. Check the function to ensure that the button clicks easily. If not, pull back the hood cover, recenter the washer, and carefully replace the hood cover. Unfortunately, the washer is designed for Di2 12-speed Dura-Ace and Ultegra shifters only, not 11-speed. Use care not to lose when doing maintenance or replacing coin batteries on your shift levers.

    Don’t Fit Well Enough

Almost impossible to position correctly as these bits don’t locate precisely!

Shimano on-top button now much easier to use.

Absolutely great. Prior to using this the on-top Shimano button was challenging. If in cold and/or wet weather trying to get this Shimano button involved having to hard press using your fingernail. This works now. The best low budget item I have ever spent money on.
