I was looking for inline cable adjustment for my derailleurs. The ad appeared to have three pieces consisting of a spring, a ferrule, and another piece that screws in with the spring. I received these two pieces. The female side should have some threading. There’s no threading on any of this, therefore there’s no way to turn a screw or adjust it. There was no spring and there was no other parts, just these two pieces.This is impossible to actually adjust anything. All it would do is pass a cable through it… Pictures clearly show three components to this spring. A screw in male part and a female and which does the adjusting. This has no adjustment whatsoever
