Lightweight and easy to use
I originally got these to try and mount a bracket to my weed wacker, but the diameter on these brackets was just a bit small.They do mount well, as intended, to handle bars for things like lights and reflectors. The brackets are lightweight but sturdy.My only negative is that before I mounted the first one (silver) I noticed that the black one already had scratches on it (see photo). This likely happened because I had this package in my pocket for several hours before using – so the interaction between the brackets and mounting screws likely caused this. However, the longer the black bracket is on a bike, the more likely you might get scratched due to small rocks, etc. which will then show silver through the black. The silver bracket, however, had no changes to it.I do like the “Non-slip” pad for 2 reasons: it helps to keep the bracket in place (no slipping) but it also helps protect the finish on the handlebars.
