Leak-proof to an extent
I am thrilled with this 17oz Mermaid Kids Water Bottle! The design is absolutely beautiful, featuring a colorful, vibrant mermaid that instantly caught my daughter’s eye. Beyond the adorable looks, the functionality is superb as it helps drinks cold for extended amount of time. I especially appreciate the spout cover and the handle which made it great for traveling. It’s truly leak-proof when the spout is covered, but will pour out freely when open. Knowing it’s BPA-free and dishwasher safe makes it a winner for parents, too. It’s durable, easy to clean, and the perfect size for encouraging kids (ages 3+) to stay hydrated. This is a five-star product that I highly recommend

Great cup, kid loves the mermaids.
If you’re like me and have a daughter that’s obsessed with mermaids, this cup is a solid choice. Her school requires her to bring a water bottle each day, but the one she was using before this would leak if it wasn’t perfectly upright. This one, so far, hasn’t been a leaker like the other one and she adores the graphics on it. It’s well made, has good seals, a the spout and straw seem solid too. It’s stood up to numerous washes and daily use just fine. As a plain plastic cup, it’s not really made to keep ice for hours on end like a double wall or vacuum sealed mug. Overall, it’s a great choice and my kid loves it.

We got this water bottle for our 4 year old daughter so that she could bring it to her school with her. She has absolutely loved it and really enjoys the mermaid design. One thing that we did have to fix was that the straw was a little too long and would touch the bottom of the bottle making it hard to suck up water. My husband got scissors and cut off about a quarter inch of the straw and it has been working fine now.We haven’t had any problems with it leaking or breaking after a few weeks of use. This is an easier bottle to clean as well which is very nice. Overall we are very happy with this and it has been working great for our daughter.

Water bottle
I got this kids water bottle for school and it has worked really well so far. The bottle is light and easy for kids to hold and the size fits nicely in a backpack or cup holder. The straw lid is simple to use and it really does not leak when the cap is closed. I also like that the parts come apart so it is easy to clean. The only small downside is the straw is a little soft so you have to be gentle when washing it. Overall it is a good bottle and keeps my kid drinking water during the day.

Adorable and Fun to Use
Nice kids’ water bottle. It holds 17oz to help keep kids hydrated, whether while out at play or at home. The graphics on it are bright and colorful and the plastic Is strong and durable, as well as BPA free. It fits most cup holders, and doesn’t collapse when gripped tightly. It’s dishwasher safe – yay! – and there’s a flip-top sipping spout that takes the place of a straw and folds down flat when not in use to help keep out dirt and dust, and also works great to prevent spills. There’s also a carrying handle with a coated carabiner ring to facilitate transporting it on trips, playgrounds, family outings, etc. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to carry, no sharp edges or parts that can harm little hands, and cute – this is a real winner. Our little one loves it.

Cute and Well Made
This kid’s water bottle is very colorful and really cute. When we first started using it, it seemed sturdy and well-made, and I liked the overall quality of the bottle itself. It felt durable and easy to hold, which is important for little hands.However, the biggest issue is that it is not spill-proof unless the lid is fully closed. If the lid is left open, even slightly, liquid will spill out easily. This became a real problem for us. Since this bottle was being used by a toddler, the lid was often left open, and that resulted in juice spilling all over my carpet.For older kids who understand how to properly close the lid, this may work just fine. But for toddlers, I would not consider this bottle spill-proof or mess-friendly. It is cute and well-made, but the design does not account for how young children actually use bottles.Because of that, I would recommend this more for older kids rather than toddlers.
