I’m using these with a ~15 year old GMC bike rack to carry my mountain bikes. They seat on the rack tabs with some wiggling and pulling. They seem more robust than the straps that were made for the rack – thicker. They bend just fine. My only ask would be that they make these a couple of inches longer.

I bought these to replace some broken Yakima straps for a hitch mounted bike rack. They started breaking the first time I used them and almost had a bike fall off the back of my car. Bike was a light 12kg mountain bike. Rubbish. AVOID.

I used these to replace 9 year old straps on our hitch bike rack. They fit on snugly and actually are a tad longer than the original ones. Good insurance to avoid potentially having old straps break with your bike on the back going down the road.
